Hi all, I purchased a LENOVO make lap top one year before now i am not getting enough battery back up to work on it. Could any one pls tell me is there any problem with my lap top or need to change battery ? if so how much for the battery available in Indian market ?Poor battery performance ?
If you use a Li-ion Battery it is not safe to keep charging all the time.
If you always charged above say 25% battery now it would be unable to use that 25% and it is permanately gone.
You need to repair it.

with a battery pack you have to sacrifice performance to get better battery time, no two ways about it. So you should have adjusted your power setting so when it is on battery, you are not draining the battery.2 - 10 hours you should get from a charge, pending on load. Alway run battery from full to flat, avoid short term charges. To try and increase life in battery cycle full to flat 3 times over several days, noting how long it takes to discharge. If it doesn't improve, time to buy a new one, recommend a heavy duty one. You can use the old as as a back up (spare) or dispose of it correctly, your choice.
