I know you need to poke a hole on the key but Ive been doing this with no results. I would take it to the dealer but they're a total rip-off.

I had the same problem ....I ended up getting a fine screw driver that you would use on eye glasses and that seemed to do the trick I pulled the fob apart while turning the screw and it came a part.I just replaced the battery and was able to put it back together again using the same screwdriver.
