How do I change a battery-powered clock to run on electricity via the outlet?

I have an old clock that runs on batteries, but i'd rather have it run on current from the outlet. How would I go about doing this? How do I change a battery-powered clock to run on electricity via the outlet?
Go to Radio Shack and get a %26quot;Power Cube%26quot; one of those little black boxes that plug into your wall.

Match the Voltage of the total volts of your batteries...

If its 2..AA...or AAA..batteries it would be 1.5VDC x 2 = 3 volds DC

etc.......

Find the +...and - leads of the power cube, and you may need to cut and solder to the existing battery connectors of the clock..

Its not Rocket science or hard, just make sure you have the right voltages..and right Polarities..How do I change a battery-powered clock to run on electricity via the outlet?
transformer to the voltage of the clock motor.wire it in where the battery leads are. plug it in and your ticking. How do I change a battery-powered clock to run on electricity via the outlet?
You would need a transformer that converts form 120V house current (in the US) or whatever voltage house current is in your country (240V?) and also converts from Alternating current (AC) to DC. Most batteries are 1.5 volt, so depending on how many batteries you have in the unit you would need a voltage of 1.5 x ( of batteries) = voltage. Depends on how much you like that clock! You need a 110 volt AC to DC rectifier, Then you need to know what voltage your clock uses 1.5v, 3v, 6v, 9volt %26quot;transistor%26quot;, or 12volt, . Chances are the power supply will cost more than a new clock! Wire the proper voltage into the clock, hook + to +, and - to - , and plug it in ! Why not just buy a new clock?
