If you hold down the 1 %26amp; 6 preset buttons on the stereo, it will give you the serial number of the stereo. THEN call a Honda Dealership and give them that number. They shouldn't charge you anything...and if they do, call another one. They can put that number in and have a code for you in a few minutes. Once you get the code, put it in using the preset buttons. If it says %26quot;error%26quot;, unhook the battery for a few minutes and then put in the number.

i had this exact issue. get into your manual like the other guys said. i believe there is a code in there that it will help you get to. make sure you read the directions and put it in correctly or you'll have to disconnect the battery again. not that its difficult to do but its a pain
