I work in a Jewelry store and have changes some watch batteries.

Sorry pup! your stuck with it.

Most high end watches have very special needs to them. If you don't let a certified service person do it, you void your warranty. Take it from me, you can't do it yourself anyway. Special tools are needed. Even if you chisel off the back yourself, the battery is held in with a special kind of %26quot;rivet%26quot;. You can't get it out without ruining the watch. Then, you need the pressure sealer to close it.

I suggest you call around and price check other companies. Also, the manufacturer will do the service if you contact them. However, you would have to send the watch to them and it could take up to 6 weeks to get it back. Also, they do charge but it might be less than a Certified Service department and you know the job will be done right.

Lingo check, All work done on items is referred to as %26quot;Service%26quot; just means they do the change and check for anything else wrong. Normal.
