How to change battery on Mamiya Auto Lux 35?

How do I access or change the battery on a Mamiya Auto-Lux 35?

Thanks in advance =]How to change battery on Mamiya Auto Lux 35?
I don't think the Auto Lux 35 has a battery. The selenium cell is simply used to power the exposure needle system and set the aperture when in shutter priority (Auto) mode.

Here's the manual in case you don't already have it:

  • How to change battery in VW flip key?

    Hi,

I have a 3 button VW flip key and need to chnage its battery. Could someone give me some instructions of how to change it. I was able to get the key part (top part) of the flip key to seperate from the transmitter but from there have no idea where the battery is located inside the transmitter.

ThanksHow to change battery in VW flip key?
What you need before you start:

A small flat head screwdriver, or small knife, and a CR2032 battery (available at most auto parts stores, radioshacks, Wal-marts etc... ~$4)

Step 1: Have your key with the VW logo facing up

Step 2: Insert small screwdriver (or small knife) into the slot between key and transmitter(part with the buttons) [I find it easiest to use the knife as a lever to help separate them]

Step 3: Pull apart the key and transmitter

Step 4: Separate the two halves of the transmitter. You should be able to do this with your thumb and forefinger with relative ease.

    Step 5: Dislodge the battery

Step 6: Insert the new battery(+ goes down). Then push the key fob back together

Step 7: Check to make sure the little indicator light still blinksHow to change battery in VW flip key?
    This worked perfectly! Thanks!

How do you change battery terminals on a Ford Mustang?

My friend's car is a 2000-ish Mustang she has to mess with the battery every time to get her car to start.

Her dad told her the battery terminals need to be changed, but he lives 2 hours away and she has work in the morning.

Is it something I could get my brother to do? Is it difficult?

Can someone give me a step-by-step walk-through on how to do this?

Thank you.How do you change battery terminals on a Ford Mustang?
It should be fairly simple depending on how mechanically inclined your brother is. Here is the info:

DIY: How to Change Your Battery

    From About.com

    What you will need:

    1. An adjustable wrench or a socket wrench

    2. New battery

    3. Wire brush or battery terminal cleaner

    4. Clean water

    5. Safety glasses

    6. Rubber gloves (Optional)

    7. Can of Rust-O-Lieum primer

    8. White Lithium Grease

WORK IN A WELL-VENTILATED AREA AWAY FROM SPARKS OR OPEN FLAMES. DO NOT SMOKE. AND ITS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA TO WEAR PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR.

    *

Disconnect the negative cable first and then disconnect the positive cable.

    *

Remove the battery hold down. It may be along the top of the battery or on the battery tray clamped to the side of the battery.

    *

Once it is free, carefully lift it up and out of the tray.

BATTERY'S CONTAIN SULFURIC ACID AND IT CAN BURN YOUR SKIN. IT IS VERY CORROSIVE TO ANYTHING IT COMES IN CONTACT WITH.

    * Look at the battery tray. If there are signs of rust and corrosion, clean it off with plenty of clear water. Allow the tray to dry and spray it with the primer to prevent further deterioration.

    * Place the new battery in the tray and reinstall the hold down clamp.

    * If you have a top terminal battery, clean the inside of the cables with a battery brush and wire brush the battery posts. If you have a side terminal battery, clean the terminals with the wire brush.

    * Check and make sure there is no corrosion on the battery cables. Clean them as required.

    * Reattach the positive battery cable first and then the negative battery cable. Tighten the tight but on side terminal batteries do not over tighten. You can pull the side post out of the battery if you over tighten them.

    * Give the terminals a good coating of White Lithium Grease to keep them from getting corroded.

    * Start the engine and you're done.

This is a quick and easy job that should take 30 to 45 minutes. How do you change battery terminals on a Ford Mustang?
It actually very simple, The terminal only cost around 10 bucks for a pair. You simply disconnect the battery and changed the terminals by removing the nutt that connects the cable to the terminals and adding the new ones. If you cant do it then any mechanic or person with minimal mechanical knowledge can do this. Good luckHow do you change battery terminals on a Ford Mustang?
it's a little hard to say without seeing them, but often times the problem is corrosion which you can do something about. carefully remove the negetive cable from the battery, get a can of coke or make a mixture of baking soda and water, (not a paste, just very milky looking). dip the end of the cable in the mixture or the coke and leave it set for 20 minutes-half an hour, dry the end, hook it back up and do the same with the other cable. be careful not to get the mixture on the top of the battery, what you are doing is cleaning the chemical build up by neutralizing the acids, if you get it in the battery it will also neutralize it and you will be buying a new battery. this will only help if the problem is corrosion, you may have bad cables or a bad connection on the other end, and replacing the cable is probably more than you want to do.

How to change the battery for casio ws300 watch?

I have a casio ws300 watch, but lost the manu. I would like to know how to change battery. How to change the battery for casio ws300 watch?
It will be just as cheap and much quicker to go to the jeweller section of Target and get it done. $15 bucks top. A battery for the watch at Radio Shack will be $8-10 plus the hassle. Its pretty easy if you know what you're doing.

Its up to you. But you shouldn't need a manual to do it. Unscrew the back, switch the battery, make sure the gasket is in place and put the case back on the watch

look on the back of the key. you'll find a small phillips head screw at the bottom of the back by the metal key. remove that screw then simply pry the case apart at the bottom using your fingernail or a small screwdriver blade. the case with then separate in two and the battery is can be removed.

most Honda dealers will change the battery for you at no charge if you buy the battery from them

you'll find the picture on page 85 of your owner's manual if you have one.

    hope that helps

as a note, there should be a red LED on the top of the remote that comes on when you press any of the buttons. if the light comes on, the battery is OK. if it doesn't then its time to repalce the battery.
