To save battery ppower, i turn off the wifi and set brightness to its lowest and not play and games. Dont change the battery, if it breaks just send it to apple to fix.%26lt;Ipod Touch 2G Battery longer working time?!%26gt;?
OK well i have the same one and mine have been on for like 2wks and all i did was put it to sleep DONT power it off because when you turn it back on it takes more power to load then if you just keep in in sleep mode hope this helps you :) :) and turn off wi-fi ans set the brightness to low and turn off location service's that well really give it a lot longer battery life and don't play games for long or at all if possible
